"It was amazing. If you are looking for a place with scenic views look no further! Absolutely stunning to walk around the deck and enjoy the blue ridge mountains. However, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD. Don’t make the mistake we made and think “oh well, I am a good driver it shouldn’t be an issue”… chances of someone getting up the last few hundred feet with a fully loaded front wheel drive are very slim!! Had every amenity. Very clean. Well decorated and not broken down like some rentals. Hot tub was lovely. "This home is great for a peaceful get-away. With the exception of one other home nearby, it's almost on its own, so it's quiet enough to enjoy the sounds of nature. A short drive took us down through a neighborhood to sit by the lake. Back at the house, it was nice to end evenings watching the bright stars from the porch. "The outdoor space on this property is stunning. There is a lot of outdoor space to entertain and the views are so pretty. Would be amazing for a summer party. The inside was very musty when we first got there and we had to go out and get candles to chase away the smell. By the next day it was pretty much gone so I’m thinking it just hadn’t been used in a while."
