"Parking was a little tight but everything else was good"

"Very pleasant."

"Had a fantastic stay here! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was such a nice touch to come downstairs to free cookies, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and fresh coffee. Another great perk was receiving two complimentary drink tickets, which we could use for wine or beer. The rooms were spotless, the rates were very cost-efficient, and the location couldn't be better—right next to everything. A truly great experience, and we would definitely stay here...

"Room was clean"

"very helpful and friendly staff. we would, and will, return to stay with them."

"The rooms are brand new and beautiful. Great for a weekend at the beach."

"It’s nostalgic to me as we went there when I was a child and later took my kids there when they were small. The place looks almost exactly like it did 25 years ago. Some extra wood nailed in here and there to make it safe to walk. Lots of areas where one could easily trip. One problem; they said they were no longer dealing with Expedia and charged me extra for taxes they say Expedia didn’t collect. I want to look into this because it seems “fishy” to me."

"Loved the clean room, lovely balcony and the lookout area on the third floor."

"friendly and relaxing stay"

"Parking is disastrous. Plan on using the valet service at $15 a day so you don’t have to walk down the road to park your car and retrieve it. Management should plan to pave the grass out front. Other than that and broken ice machine very nice stay and good restaurant."

"Very clean. All the amenities one might need and having a kitchenette was helpful. I have mobility issues and everyone on the staff was incredibly helpful. There are a couple tips I would like to leave. For others with mobility issues, the trek to the beach was arduous. I found easy access to the beach on 3rd Street in Emerald Isle which is not far away. There’s parking, a ramp, and a very short walk with no steps. And for the owners of Beacon, I would suggest leaving instructions for the air...

"TV system was terrible….. TV wouldn’t work properly for most of our stay…. The tv in the bedroom area rarely worked and the channels were not the same as the one in the sitting area when it did function properly. Staff admitted there were problems but did not know how to help….. some channels were not available on the tv in the bedroom. TVs were out dated."

"Great location. Staff were wonderful. We felt like hotel staff were genuinely interested in making our stay a great one."
