"The property is very clean, and well appointed. Beautiful wrap around deck! One bedroom and bath w/ sauna in the walkout basement. The main floor is the kitchen, living area, and another bathroom. The upstairs is a loft, with 2 bunk beds- both have full size bottom bed. We really enjoyed it! Lots of U.P. charm!"

"This house was perfect for our family (6 adults - my wife and I and our 2 children and their spouses). It is remote enough for quiet and relaxation, yet close enough to Houghton and many great attractions in the Keweenaw The views of Lake Superior are stunning, especially at sunset. Spacious, well-furnished, comfortable, and delightful are suitable adjectives to describe the Superior Retreat."

"Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay."
