"Beautiful hotel, room (garden room) and service. After a not so great stay at a previous hotel that weekend, it was nice to be welcomed to the Stone Hotel. Will definitely recommend to friends and if down this way again, will be booking for sure. Thank you."

"We had a lovely 2 day stay with our dog at the Bear’s Paw. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and our dog even had a bonus sausage. We had an evening meal there and the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be back!"

"The young waiter in the restaurant couldn’t have been more helpful on both nights. The room was a bit tired though with a ripped chair and a shower handle that would fall off when turned."

"Honestly dont know why people leave bad reviews, if you want a 5 star experience, put your hand in your pocket and pay the 200 quid a night at the hilton, instead of wanting to pay 50 quid and get luxury! The staff on check in were FANTASTIC! The restaurant does decent well priced food, the rooms are adequate, the shower in ours was great. There is a shuttle to the airport, however we booked an uber. Parked our car there for 2 weeks, great prices! Overall a great experience, also its the third time we have stopped her over the years "
