"Expedia needs to be more accurate in regard to the availability of "complimentary breakfast". The breakfast is complimentary only in a very limited way. It is only continental breakfast available when the restaurant is not open for regular breakfast, Monday through Thursday before 8 AM. The Hotel is a good buy in a location that is very attractive. The rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is a historic place the is a peaceful way to spend time and explore the beautiful Flint Hills...

"The room was super spacious and comfortable. Great set up for the family and for
dogs
. We all slept great and got to grab a small bite to eat in the morning. Only downside was the sidewalks outside were complete ice and I slipped the second I took a step onto the concrete. They just may not have had time yet to salt. Overall good stay and will most likely be back as we come through town. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here, the bed was so comfortable and property was super quiet. It’s a classic motel but it’s clear the owners take pride in the property and its upkeep, new paint, floors and styles to modernize. The room felt very big even with the king sized bed. The price was right and we really enjoyed the location and property for a good nights rest between stops. Would definitely stay again. "

"Fancier than I normally use. Got there too late to enjoy it. Is connected to a casino which is nice if you're a gambler. It was clean, quiet and updated. People at the desk all seem bored with their jobs. Dont go out of the way to give helpful information except the blond haired lady on the morning of Sat July 26th. She was friendly. They need to be friendly and engaging to work with the public. Also no carts to load stuff if you're parked in the back. Back entrance needs a sign like BACK ENTRANCE so we know which door to use."
