The Heimly staff was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room had gorgeous views of the fjords. Breakfast was excellent, and the three-course vegetarian dinner that the chef prepared for us was the best meal we had on our trip to the Scandinavian countries.

stunning fjord views! Both dinner and breakfast are included. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms might be considered small and basic, but you're really here for the location and the view. Be sure to book a room with a view. It's amazing!

Nice and easy walk from both the train station and ferry terminal. Location had fabulous views overlooking the fjord. Meals were very tasty. The staff were wonderful. Paper thin walls and very basic room, although would recommend the Panorama room for the view and with the location, you’re not in your room for very long. However, although nice, felt like it was very overpriced for nearly $900 per night.

Excellent proximity to Flam visitor centre , railway station and trails nearby. Room is very clean and cozy & I enjoyed my stay here Dinner included deserves special mention / the quality and taste of the items prepared with care, Was excellent. I am a vegetarian and the chef took great care of my needs and made special dishes with great quality ingredients.

Beautiful bed & breakfast. Very homely. Staff was very kind and generous. They let us store our bags after check out & we spent some time at the place while waiting for our train. Had access to WC, tea/ coffee. The place was very clean. Breakfast & dinner are included. The dinner was delicious. They even accommodated our request for a vegetarian dinner- beetroot soup, mushroom risotto & dessert! Only note - It’s a good 10 - 12 min walk from the ferry/ train station. You have to carry your suitcases over steps (the staff kindly helped with that). And the room/ bathroom is very tiny - barely room to open the bags.

Highly recommend the location which is a short walk from the busy center where all the tourists gather. Super friendly staff! Cute farm & restaurant property next to it. The dinner, which is included in the fee, was very good. The room was small but comfortable. Negative was that we heard a lot of the noise being just above the outside sitting area. We heard water running probably from showers next door.

located a quick walk from the train station, breakfast and dinner included (and the food was quite good!), there is a little bar and a 'living room' to hang out in - it's a lovely little hotel

Highly recommended - excellent view!

Highly recommended - excellent view! Short easy walk from train station/port. Great food. Definitely worth staying in Flam to get the full Norway in a nutshell experience - otherwise too rushed.

Free Dinner and Breakfast!

Amazing view, clean rooms, and nice staff. They had both FREE breakfast AND dinner. The dinner was like a 3 course meal too. Very impressive.
