"This hotel was truly a gem! It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants to try. Me and my husband stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There is plenty of free parking for the hotel guest which is very rare for Chicago and it's surrounding areas. It is also in close proximity to downtown Chicago. The room was very spacious and clean and we loved the old charm of the decor. The only thing that was not the best was that the king size bed was a little too hard for our liking. But we were able to fix that by getting an extra comforter to make it softer. We loved the jazz music that was playing in the lobby, so soothing. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Chicago. "

"Very nice stay. Only negative was when checking in our room wasn't ready and we were told we would get a text when it was. We checked our bags at the desk and left to see the city and never got any notice our room was ready. When we got back to hotel around midnight after a concert we had to finish checking in. Turns out the person hadn't checked us in but only held a room for us. If the room had been ready earlier we would have stopped back in to finish check in as opposed to doing it late at night when we're were tired etc."

"This hotel is very comfortable, spacious, and nice—like a complete package, and it exceeded my expectations. I really like this hotel. Transportation to downtown Chicago is also very easy from here. The key is to avoid Forest Park Station; instead, take the line toward the airport first. It’s a bit of a detour, but much more comfortable."

"Second time staying at The Robey. Awesome location, clean rooms and the best staff!! When my shirt got rust on it from the iron in my room, I was immediately compensated and cost of replacement shirt provided. Just a cool, comfortable place to stay. Great music playing in the lobby too. Highly recommend. "
