"As what I consider a value resort in Cancun, all of my expectations were met. The beds were comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly, the food was average but they do their best to try to make it upscale and the drinks were average. One thing I did not like was that they had zero options, other than water, for drinks not containing fake sugar. All I wanted was a real Mexican Coke made with real sugar and there were none to be found."

"Our experience was amazing! This place exceeding our expectations! We have been to Cancun many times, and Sunscape is now our favorite resort! We were welcomed with kindness and respect immediately. The entire staff was smiling the entire time. I would like to personally thank Victor Chi, who seated us multiple times at the buffet restaurant. He went out of his way to talk to us, got to know us and also gave us a history lesson on the area, which we enjoyed! The best waiter we had was at the buffet restaurant, and his name was Fabian! He laughed so much with us, and he was very attentive with us. He made our daughter, who has disabilities, feel so comfortable and made her feel respected! I took my elderly parents and daughter here to celebrate multiple occasions, and it was worth every penny! We became the Asian family who has someone who speaks Spanish (me), and the staff loved to interact with me in Spanish, which helped me practice even more! The food was also delicious, the pools were clean and so relaxing, the rooms were very clean also! Thank you for helping to make our trip so memorable!"

"Staff were very friendly! Hotel was very clean, the bars and drinks were awesome. The food was a hit and miss though. The specialty restaurants were below average. I felt the food at the buffet was better, but for the price we paid, this was a great stay!"
