"Lots of potential and positive points though I do think there can be some improvements Positives: - Absolutely stunning view++ - Beautiful and large pool/pool area - Breakfast in the glass room is so peaceful in the am - Excellent daily housekeeping - Great location as a base to explore many towns in the region - just be aware of the ~10 min drive from the highway area to get to the agriturismo -Were able to lend us beach equipment which was appreciated Negatives: - Pool maintenance could have been improved. It was completely green for two days of the stay and was only cleaned once while we were there (6 nights). It was September and many families still were using the pool. We were told it was due to the rain but it only rained on the first day so it seemed strange to us and was not the case at the hotels we visited after. - We didn’t feel that personnel here were as welcoming as other Agriturismo we’ve been do in Sicily and around Italy. -Often had issues getting hot water in the shower (would go from hot to cold randomly) -No electronic fob for the gate"

"A little gem on the outskirts of Avola town centre. Buffet breakfast with homemade specialities. Direct walking distance to the beach or town square. English speaking lovely hosts who are very keen to answer any questions. There are local bus services for all connections to other areas to visit like Sirucusa , Noto etc and also a direct bus to Cantania airport which runs hourly: tickets are to be pre-booked at Via Dante 9 and the bus stop is just over the same square Piazza Triestre. Restaurant options in abundance and something for everyone and anywhere at various prices. Be aware that almost everything closes at 13.00 until 16.00 including supermarkets. Avola is a small lively traditional town with plenty of history and sunshine: information found at the info centre in the Piazza Umberto. A place to wind down and embrace the Sicilian way of life or to use as a base to explore the surrounding area. A week is suffice."

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die Sauberkeit, die Klimaanlage sowie der sehr freundliche und unkomplizierte Kontakt. Auch die Informationen rund um den Aufenthalt waren sehr gut und hilfreich. Alles war bestens organisiert und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.Wir würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen und gerne wiederkommen!"

"The property was as expected. The pool was amazing and we used it daily. The house was clean but we did find there to be ants especially in the kitchen which was a little frustrating as we tried to find places to store snacks that had been opened. The beds were comfortable and the couch as well. There was limited storage room for luggage. We loved the outdoor area and used the grill and patio seating and eating area often. Neighborhood was quiet and had adequate parking space. Note that it is very easy to go over the maximum kilowatt allotment and you will need euros to pay this fee at checkout. Despite the couple minor inconveniences the home was wonderful and would definitely recommend and the property owners/tenders were wonderful people!"

"Friendly staff, beautiful property and the best hotel breakfast we have had so far. We had an issue and it was resolved quickly. Definitely recommend. Location is a bit difficult to find, but we'll worth it."
