"We arrived feeling stressed after the drive to the hotel! The lovely young lady on the front desk welcomed us with a warm Smile and arranged for the bartender to bring us a drink outside so we could soak up the afternoon sun and relax. We were served a delicious aperol. The decor throughout the hotel is very tasteful even the corridors to the room. Clean white walls but a hint of original brickwork showing. Comfy beds, crisp white linen. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Everywhere was spotless. Great breakfast and amazing service. Lovely location just opposite the pretty pebbly beach and around the corner from the lovely streets full of restaurants, shops and wonderful architecture. Would definitely return."

"I was so impressed with how spacious, clean and comfortable the rooms were, not to mention the amazing location. Staff were warm, welcoming and so helpful. I kept adding more days to my stay because I truly loved it here and felt so relaxed and at home. I will definitely be back in the future!"

"Super emplacement. Parking publique juste à côté. Notre chambre était petit , mais coquette et une belle vue sur la mer. Nous avons aimé. La terrasse sur le toit pour déjeuner, est super."

"Location was fantastic! Ocean view and next to lots of restaurants and shops and the main Piazza. The terrace was so quaint and the breakfast was lovely! The decor is super charming as well. Loved our stay!"

"4.5 stars. We overall had a very positive stay. The location is fantastic to tour around Ortigia and the size and layout of the suite was great. The staff was helpful taking our bags over from the main part of Siracusa and giving us tips of what to do. We also really appreciated the welcome gift of Prosecco and the amenities in the property were top notch. The one negative is that there was a musty smell in parts of the unit, which I hope they can address."

"Property is well located and staff was really helpful. If going in a rental, make sure you call ahead of time to register the car with the city and have a parking spot in one of the nearby garages. Parking is definitely scarce in Ortigia. The images from the hotel show a gym, that is a bit misleading."

"Beautiful hotel with wonderful hospitality We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Algilà Ortigia Charme. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming. The hotel is full of Sicilian character and charm, and its location in Ortigia was perfect for exploring on foot. Our room was comfortable and beautifully suited to the character of the hotel, and the staff were always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed. After travelling throughout Sicily for two weeks, what stood out most was the genuine hospitality. We felt like valued guests, not just another reservation. Algilà was exactly what we hoped for from a Sicilian hotel — charming, personal and welcoming. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ortigia!"
