Clean room, friendly staff

It’s a beautiful property. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Siracusa/Ortigia. It has 2 large pools. The Restaurant at the resort is top notch and the included breakfast is the best in Sicily- absolutely incredible. The staff and owner are very nice and were very accommodating.

When we arrived we needed to change the room and they were very helpful with 2 options. We got the one facing the ocean. Breakfast was very good. I had to wash my car and one of the helpers at the reception drove with her motorcycle in front of me until we got the place. We used the gym and was very good. Stayed for 3 nights and the place is very close to Ortigia (old town) and though still in a quiet location with a lot of amenities close by. The actual apartment was very well set up, very comfortable and big rooms and we were very satisfied with all that was on offer. Only downside is that parking at certain hours is a bit hard to come by but always managed with little hassle in the end. We absolutely loved Aretusa Vacanze! The room was very cozy and spacious. The owners were there every morning preparing breakfast, and the rest of the family helped manage the B&B beautifully. We especially appreciated Stefano’s dinner recommendations.

We enjoyed our stay at Giuggiulena Villa! The location is right on the water with a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea, nearby sea caves, and just a few steps down to access the water for swimming. The hotel is quite cool - looks unimpressive from the outside but inside the rooms are very modern and clean. We had 2 rooms on the top floor with skylights which had remote-controlled shades. We were given code access to get in - which was perfect as we arrived early and dropped our bags off. We were lucky to fin street parking just across the street from the hotel.
