Lovely location and great family business. Antonio was a perfect host and made me feel like part of the family. Home cooked fresh food and cold beers was great after a long day ! Clean tidy room and great price. Highly recommended !

The hotel is quite cool - looks unimpressive from the outside but inside the rooms are very modern and clean. We had 2 rooms on the top floor with skylights which had remote-controlled shades. We were given code access to get in - which was perfect as we arrived early and dropped our bags off. We were lucky to fin street parking just across the street from the hotel. We were two couples. Our stay was very pleasant. Gaetano is an excellent host. He lived in Connecticut for many years, so he speaks English.

In all our travels we rarely come across a place which delivers on what we want most. Exceptional hospitality, quality of the room and common area, knowledgeable and courteous staff who has already anticipated the needs of a discriminating traveler.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the location in Siracusa was fantastic. We were an easy walk to numerous restaurants in Siracusa and Ortigia. The morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a perfect bonus. Would stay here any time we return!

So the truth is we don’t end up staying. Not because the accommodations weren’t lovely and cleanly it was because I didn’t understand that. It wasn’t the whole apartment. It is just a room in the apartment. You do have people staying in the apartment with you as well in one room over just not enough privacy for us, unfortunately. If you’re looking for something like this, though, it would be perfect for you.

It’s a beautiful property. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Siracusa/Ortigia. It has 2 large pools. The Restaurant at the resort is top notch and the included breakfast is the best in Sicily- absolutely incredible. The staff and owner are very nice and were very accommodating.

Perfectly located within walking distance to Ortigia and plenty of shops and restaurants, this place has the best of both worlds: easy to access and convenience without the noise and crowds of the main touristy area. Alessandro is an exceptional host who truly goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a great stay. Highly recommend!

The Agilia Ortigia Charme Hotel is absolutely superb. Firstly, we were lost in Syracuse, but when we called the hotel to get some guidance, very nice man name Marchello gave us excellent directions and then met us outside the hotel which was a huge help after a long day of driving in Sicily.
