Located in the charming town of Avon, NC, this beautiful house offers a perfect coastal retreat for your vacation. With an open concept floor plan, dual-zone central AC, and smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, this home provides a comfortable and modern setting for your stay.

Beach access is just a 5-minute walk away, allowing you to easily soak up the sun and surf, while sound access is a quick 10-minute stroll for serene water views. Or enjoy access to outdoor community pool available to guests. Come watch the Avon pier 4th of July fireworks show from a distance from the comfort of home.

This house is equipped with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay, including a fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, washer/dryer, and outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The property also features a balcony and patio where you can unwind and take in the sound and water views.

For added convenience and safety, the house is wheelchair accessible and includes features like carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, and a first aid kit. Cozy cottage and close walk to beach. Lovely decor and had everything we needed. Very clean and well kept. Would definitely stay again!

Nice cozy quite beach getaway

We had a wonderful time in Avon, NC, staying at the welcoming sea kottage, which was well-maintained for our visit. The beach was conveniently close to the kottage, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of nature from the outside deck. I highly recommend this beach house!

Perfect seashore retreat!

We couldn't have found a happier retreat to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Close to the most beautiful beach, so quiet and totally comfortable and immaculately clean! We love it here and will be back again and again. Oh, favorite room — the "wow" outdoor shower — hands down!

Great house

Very clean house, lots of bathrooms, outdoor shower. Not a lot of space but just right for our trip to outer banks with our granddaughter. Located on the way southern end of Outer Banks it is a good hour from Kitty Hawk. Well away from the busiest part of OBX if you are looking for more quiet areas. A little skimpy on towels and really could use a bench by the shower in the master bedroom to set clothes on and to dry my feet.

Perfect getaway in Avon NC

awesome house - was spotless when we arrived. The house was just as it was described. Open floor plan and plenty of room. My stepson and I came into town for some early season surf fishing and couldn't have found a better house for us. Conveniently located to the 38 entrance onto the beach and just down the road from the Food Lion and restaurants.Check-in and Check -out was easy.Can't wait to come back again soon.

Nice, but not great

When renting, I always look for cable or satellite tv. The description says cable, but only had streaming tv. They also advertise stunning water views. You can see a tiny sliver of the sound on the third floor deck. The house itself was nice, comfortable.

Lovely house cozy beach bungalow

Lovely home only issue was front door key pad for lock needs to be fixed or replaced doent work correctly all the time.

Not exactly as described

I specifically look for houses with cable or satellite TV. This house said it had cable. It did not, only streaming service. Had to go to office to get checked in, as directions for the lock were incorrect. House was nice, clean, but no table in living room to set anything down on and the tiniest bedside tables.

Not as accessible as stated

Beautiful home just not as handicapped accessible as led to believe ramp way to steep and narrow at top. The steepness was dangerous we had to walk backwards when pushing wheelchair down because it was was to steep to push my disabled daughter down the ramp. The top of the ramp was so narrow we had to life the back of the wheel chair to get through.

Lovely house...quiet neighborhood

Fantastic, well loved and cared for home as it is just not a rental. Homey touches throughout. Great ice maker and cold refrigerator. Vacasa brought out a new coffee maker as there was just a small Keurig. They were also helpful in navigating the remote. Like a previous renter mentioned I could not access cable, only live tv on the Roku app. Netflix and other streaming platforms were available. Upstairs bedroom is private but more of a open loft. Amazing to have 3 bathrooms so it is great for a family or group. Please note that instructions on getting into the house are not accurate. Do not use the front door/Schlage lock as it apparently is being used for the owners only. After traveling 13 hours, flying and driving I was not in a good place to be locked out. The back door (by the outside shower) is the digital lock to get in. If you do not open the storm door you would not see the keypad. From the outside storm door all you will see is the small door bell icon. To wake up the keypad on the back door you have to place your entire palm over it or it does not light up. A finger will not wake it up. The maintenance staff at Vacasa did their best to try and get me in but they also had no idea that the entrance was in the back. Maintenance had to come and show me the back entrance and he mentioned that this is not the first time for this issue. Not the best way to start my vacation but once in the house it was all worth it. Neighborhood is quiet, remote, shaded and great for evening walks. Outside shower is all that I needed after a day at the beach. With this Vacasa rental you also get access to the Community pool (previous Hatteras Realty building). It was perfect for lap swimming and 2X week there is an aqua aerobics class offered. I would love to rent again but sadly the rates doubled for my same stay next year so it is now out of my price range. I was impressed with Vacasa and they have an actual office with staff in Avon and I believe Hatteras. Great stay, thanks to the owners for sharing their piece of paradise with me.
