"A beautiful tucked away spot in Hakuba! The surrounding forest was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. About 15min walk to Goryu or they can take you in the shuttle. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated for, also a lovely spot focusing around keeping your dogs happy and taken care of. Spacious cabin feel and a decent restaurant with some nice options :) I would recommend this to anyone visiting in the winter or summer"

"Wonderful cheerful hospitality throughout our stay here. Kaiseki meals were outstanding! Our room with private outdoor onsen and mountain view was a perfect enchanting respite and recharge halfway through our whirlwind tour of Japan. Lovely!"

"この宿泊施設はバラ園に囲まれた、300年前の歴史ある建物を見事に改装しています。部屋の内装は古い雰囲気を感じさせながらも、スマートなライトなどの現代的なアメニティも取り入れられ、ユニークな雰囲気が魅力的でした。温かいスタッフのおもてなし。スタッフ全員が本当に優しい方々で、雪の日には傘を持って出迎えてくれました。その心遣いに感動し、滞在中ずっと暖かい気持ちで過ごせました。愛らしい犬ちゃんの存在。施設にはとてもかわいらしい犬ちゃんがおり、その存在が滞在をよりほっこりとしたものにしてくれました。特に犬ちゃんと遊ぶ時間は思い出深いものになりました。特別な食事体験夕食ではイタリア料理を楽しむことができ、特にイノシシの焼肉は絶品でした。朝ごはんは和食で、特に自家製のジャムが絶品でした。地元の食材を使った贅沢な朝食は、日本の美味しさを満喫できました。特別なイベントの演出宿泊日が彼女の誕生日だったため、事前にケーキのリクエストをしました。スタッフの方々は心を込めてケーキを用意してくれ、彼女も大変喜んでくれました。特別な瞬間を演出してもらえて感激です。 "

"The check in process was a nightmare. Extra costs had not been mentioned on the Expedia website at the time of making reservations so there were issues during check in and it didn't help that the staff spoke zero english."
