"Well, it’s tempting to write a review that will discourage others from staying at Laura’s View Tower, so I have more opportunity to stay there…because the fact is it is a delightful place to stay. The deck off the kitchen is a wonderful spot to have a cocktail and take in the views. Immediately behind the house is access to a lovely path for a walk that gives views of the whole valley. Laura’s View Tower was clean, has a very comfortable king size bed, the kitchen has everything you need, and the whole place is in great shape. Paonia is beautiful and peaceful, with lots to explore. Kale suggested the Paonia Riverside Park, which we visited, and found to be a truly charming walk. "

"Scott was very responsive to every question we had. The house is spectacular. Clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, well stocked and very private. We enjoyed exploring the hills around the house and made some new friends in Hotchkiss, too. "

"Property was beautiful ! Just be careful , your gps will have you trying to drive off a cliff. There is a rode that leads to the bottom of the mountain. Look for a wood awning. Besides that it’s a beautiful cabin! "

"The space was VERY clean, tidy, and cozy! The perfect place to disconnect and just escape for a few days. We got to meet a few of the dogs on the ranch, and they were super sweet and friendly. The cabin stayed comfortably warm for us despite the cold temps outside and the gas stove was easy to use. The downstairs bed was cozy, making for very restful nights and lazy mornings. So many little extras are available to guests: Games, activity books, cooking and serving utensils, water jugs, cleaning supplies, extra linens, the works! It made for a very comfortable stay. Theresa was very responsive and welcoming, and while we didn't get the chance to meet in-person this time around she was always kind and helpful in her messages with us. We will definitely be planning to return sometime in the warmer months! This is truly a fantastic all-year cabin, access to plenty of trails, sweet doggos, and all-around amazing views on the drive up!"

"The host (Bob) was most gracious. The room was clean and orderly. We had our own parking and the room was accessible. It’s a beautiful venue with great views. Bob was very receptive and allowed for early check in and late check out. He’s a great host!"
