Best dock in Bacalar

The most beautiful views from the dock made this the envy of the region. If you are looking for peaceful time with friendly and helpful staff, this is your pick. Don't come expecting "the ritz", this is remote and few issues with things like hot water, but did not deter from the overall experience.

Happy Couple

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Hotel Boutique Aurea. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Conchis, the cook, was always very accommodating to our needs. Paloma was very knowledgeable of the area and shared some the history. In general Carolina and Edgar provided great service and leadership. We will definitely go back to this location. Op het eerste gezicht is Aurea een luxe resort met mooie appartementen. Maar veel is niet zo goed onderhouden, bijvoorbeeld de badkamer bij ons appartement. Het restaurant was toen wij er waren non-exiztent, het geserveerde ontbijt erg matig. Maar als je aan de lagune wil zitten, is Aurea een perfecte plek met een mooie pier het water in en relaxte rieten paviljoentjes eraan, precies zoals je verwacht van een tropisch paradijs.

El lugar es lindo pero había chinches salimos todos picados, quedaron de prepararnos lunch box y nunca lo entregaron . Su menu luce bien pero no tienen casi nada de lo q aparece en el.

Muy bonito pero tuve una mala experiencia. Olvide una maleta en recepcion durante el check out , fui a pasar el resto del dia a bacalar (5 horas) y nadie tuvo la delicadeza de avisarme que la habia olvidado. Al llegar a mi destino me di cuenta pero ya era muy tarde. Nadie tuvo la delicadeza de avisarme.
