Cold Ashton is a sleepy village with no facilities within walking distance. Marshfield is the closest town which has a couple of pubs and a general store. "The property is in a stunning location and is well maintained. However there was a lot of dust behind the TV and you know the places that are harder to access so it could do with a deep clean. In addition the number of plates cups sources provided his only enough for one per person which means that we had to wash up or put the dishwasher on and wait for this to finish before our next meal. This was limiting in what we could do in the kitchen and limited our days options."

"Great property with excellent facilities. The pictures really do not do it justice, it’s got a huge kitchen and really well equipped. With regards exploring the region, it is really well placed (I don’t think I did any more than 100 miles all week). If I had one small negative note it would be that the nearest local shops are in Wedmore which is around 2 miles away so although we did walk down a couple of times, it’s not something you would do on a daily basis. Would highly recommend 👍"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Batch Cottage. The cottage is exactly as described and was warm and cosy and very comfortable. It had everything you might need for your stay and a lovely garden. It’s really well located for the surrounding towns and villages - we visited Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wedmore and Tyntesfield during our short break. Would happily return."
