La Maison sur la Colline – Eco-Friendly Getaway with Garden & Scenic Views

La Maison sur la Colline – Eco-Friendly Getaway with Garden & Scenic Views

10/10 Excellent
"The apartment was fantastic! Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home! We felt more like we were visiting family than paying guests. The space was very large, very clean and comfortable with a newly renovated bathroom, beautiful bright kitchen and loads of lounging areas. They offer a laundry service that is €1 per load - more than reasonable! There’s a wonderful complementary tea and coffee cart as well as other thoughtful touches throughout the home. We appreciated the visual appeal and use of the China in the cabinet! Our family happened to visit at walnut season - the hosts have a walnut tree in their yard so we were able to munch on fresh walnuts for breakfast! A real treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again! Our family highly recommends this hideaway on the hill! Note - it’s not easy to spot at first. Access is hidden by large hedges but there is a small sign at the opening of the driveway. Google Maps will take you one house left of where you want to be. Not recommended to try and find in the dark! Ha ha! (But now that you have this hint, fellow B and Ber’s, you should be just fine.)"
