It's a nice place

Personable staff-charming and attentive to all our needs. We had everything we needed in our stop walking the Cotswold Way. We had 13 different hotels along the way and with this one it was the staff that made it a great stay.

Wonderful

The property is very charming and cozy. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished in a country rustic style. The room was newly renovated and it was very comfortable and charming and clean. Service was excellent as well. We will definitely stay here again.

The inn was beautiful. The location is perfect. It is right outside Bath, next to the horse racecourse. The room was nearly brand new which was both good and bad. The good was it was spotless and well maintained. The bad was the radiator wasn’t working the first night so my son was shivering all night. Im not going to knock the rating down because the staff tried their best to fix it. The breakfast was delicious. We loved every dish. We also ate dinner there twice and had a lovely meal. We...

The hotel and staff are wonderful. Their restaurant is fantastic and the town is beautiful. So much attention to detail and the food easily rivals the best in London. You will not regret spending time in this wonderful hotel.

Check-in was a little haphazard but after that things generally went very smoothly. After my shower and fly-hunting activities I ate dinner outside in the courtyard. Food and service were excellent. Did not manage to fall asleep til 3am and was awoken at 10 am by loud laughter from the kitchen staff right below my...

Friendly staff, nice rooms and food. Great value for money, would definitely stay here again!

One of the best hidden gems. This is the kind of place where you hide to write a novel.

The staff was incredibly helpful and stashed my bags for me that I didn’t need for the one night I was staying (the location does not have an elevator). The space was quaint and adorable.

We decided very last minute to stay in the Cotswalds overnight. I wanted to experience a staying a traditional inn. The Horse and Groom was perfect! We couldn't have asked for anything better. The guestroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We booked just an hour before we arrived, but they were gracious to accommodate us. The Inn is picturesque, the breakfast was amazing even though we were there on Monday when they do t offer their full breakfast menu. The service was the best we have ever...

Food was amazing, as were the accommodations and staff.

Wonderful place in the countryside. Owners great and accommodating. Food excellent.

A little bit difficult to get there but worth the trip. Very nice and comfortable room. Very well stocked with breakfast foods. Very close and easy access to Wales and Eye Valley.
