"We stayed for 2 nights in May in a superior room with a sea view (3rd floor). I can honestly say this was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever been in - about 0.5m space around the bed, and the balcony was less than 1m wide. The room faced onto the park with a partial sea view, and there was a rock concert on both nights we were there, which ran until after 11 pm and which the meagre soundproofing offered scant protection against. The hotel had been in email contact prior to our check in and never mentioned this concert was on, despite it starting the day before we arrived and happening every year around this time. The staff weren’t very sympathetic to our complaint and only after writing to management did we get a grudging 10% refund. Would not recommend!!"

"Room was great and we loved sitting on the balcony. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Breakfast was excellent. Fairly easy to get to train and bus, and Uber was easy. Lots of good restaurants all around. Very relaxing stay. Parking is the only wild card. The lot across from the hotel is very accessible and has plenty of spots. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon it was chaos, but spaces were available. We loved our stay"

"Amazing view and we had a lovely stay here! Our daughter walked down to town every morning for croissants and a baguette. Garage for one small car. Tight fit to get in and out of with our rented Opal Frontera, but roomy once you make it in. Owner advises no vehicle taller than 1.8m. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to train station and beach with a steep walk and stairs."
