"Welcome Hotel is in a wonderful location, right on the water with incredible views. Terrific restaurants are just a few steps away as is shopping. Easy rideshare or taxi access to the area. Front desk staff was fantastic as were the other staff. We had a problem with the shower drain and they were immediately on it and solved it. Rooms can be a little funky, but that's part of the boutique charm. Our room was spacious (by European standards) and the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean was...

"Highly recommend this apartment - the location and spectacular views from the balcony can’t be beat. The apartment is comfortable, well furnished (washing machine is really useful for days of hiking and swimming), and has a set of continuous glass sliding doors that give you fantastic and uninterrupted views of the sea, the beach, the town with its sorbet colours, and even a cute little train that crosses the mountains like in a Wes Anderson movie. We spent hours just sitting on the balcony, savouring this view. The apartment is steps away from the beach and restaurants. The host was very friendly. Villefranche -Sur-Mer is so pretty it’s like it jumped out of a postcard, and we are so happy we stayed here. Note though that the shower area is very small and we’d have appreciated if they provided soaps and shampoos for the price (we had to buy our own), but these don’t detract from our overall wonderful experience. Book this apartment - it’s a gem!"
