"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved how we could easily walk to Boothbay. Access to the kayaks was a huge plus too. If there was one bit of advice I could offer, it would be to reduce the amount of furniture in the cabin. I believe there were 15 chairs within."

"We loved this cottage! It was so quaint and charming and perfect for our family. The fans and the screens in the windows were lifesavers as we hit some hot weather while staying here. We loved the location, as well as the view over the water. Absolutely wonderful and we would stay here again!"

"This place is fantastic! So close to Boothbay Harbor, East Boothbay and Southport, but secluded and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing get away. Would definitely stay here again. Leslie, our host, was super communicative and made check in a breeze! Highly recommend! "

"I had such an awesome time at this location. The cabin was so comfortable and cozy. I loved falling asleep and waking up to the view if the trees behind the cabin. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Shaws is around the corner where I grabbed some groceries. I was surprised by how facinating the desert was. "My family enjoyed the use of the kayaks and floats available. Cottage location made it easy to get back and forth to Portland. The air conditioning was a Godsend with the high temps/humidity Maine was experiencing. Kitchen was stocked with all the pots/pans to cook meals as well as the grill. Nice patio table to enjoy meals and relaxing."

"Great location. Very old camp that was pretty clean despite the age...except for the carpeting. Walkway into the camp just an uphill, rocky path. Quite hazardous, especially if wet. Also challenging to get luggage up, especially for older adults or anyone with mobility issues Needs improvement"

"We had a lovely stay. Very comfortable king size bed with plenty of good pillows. Shower had wonderful pressure! Kitchen well equipped. Quiet and view over lake serene. Enjoyed the loon and bald eagle. Best for 2 people bunk room very small. Would recommend and come back ourselves, but longer stay. serene."

"It is a cute cabin but needs some serious maintenance. The entry slope would be improved by stepping stones along the very appropriate gravel path. It is a steep path and the stones can be slippery and awkward. The inside front door would benefit from a "wipe-your-feet" mat. The microwave, dishwasher and stove are nicely upgraded although we only used the microwave as we were just 2 and mostly ate out. There are 2 good heaters, one up and one down but they do not have fans so they do not heat...

"Beautiful property. Saw seals from living room catching fish. Front door did not lock but it’s a safe neighborhood but a bit isolated. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Laundry facilities were a great help! Gorgeous views of the water and excellent service and communication."
