"Casa Boom exceeded our expectations. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. Lovely roof terrace for relaxing and alfresco meals. A true home from home. The location was ideal for us being very central in Fuseta. Many good bars and restaurants close by ranging tapas to excellent fish. Shops and fresh food market very close. Short walk to quay with boat trips including Fuseta Island, wonderful beaches on the island and mainland, the latter very good for swimming. Pleasant walks...

We loved the property, the pool and the location, great for the mountains and 15min drive to Tavira. Heidi was very friendly and attentive, checking that we had everything we needed, which we did. "We loved the beautiful house and yard. It was a great place to hang out as a family. Lots of games and we had tournaments of bocce and ping pong. The tables inside and pool side were perfect for our family reunion of 8. The location to the amazing beach and colourful cliff walks were a short walk. The tapas restaurant and the fresh pastries from across the street were delicious. I hope to return. The owners were delightful and easy to get in touch with."

"Had a lovely stay in Cabanas in this traditional Portuguese house in a small town. Everything was within walking distance. Close to the boardwalk and ferry across Ria Formosa lagoon to the beach. Two wonderful terraces. Nicely decorated with artistic touches. We had a few issues that required us to contact the owner who responded immediately. Would recommend to others!"

"This is an idyllic place to stay, away from the crowds, on a wooded hillside surrounded by nature. The hosts, Heidi and Johannes, were very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Tavira, which has a good selection of cafés and restaurants and the nearby village of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo also has a small convenience store. The location is perfect, both for access to beaches and for hiking in the hills."

"The bungalow and its grounds were spacious, well equipped for the heat, with options to have shade - very necessary when it was 33C! The pool was fantastic! We self-catered the whole of our stay - so found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Comfortable beds, sofas etc, with plenty of spare cushions, towels etc. The owner's father responded quickly to any queries we had. All in all, a lovely holiday! Thankyou, Humberto!"

"Das Haus liegt wie beschrieben sehr ruhig und ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gepflegt. Es ist alles da was man braucht und der Vermieter gibt es viel Mühe Informationen zur Verfügung zu stellen. Nur Internet gab es nicht wie angekündigt. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto und da der Weg sehr schmal ist ein kleines Auto empfehlenswert. Einkaufen ist im 5 km nahen Ort möglich, man kann schöne Ausflüge vor Ort machen. Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit und kommen gerne wieder."

"James and his local representative, Patricia, were the perfect hosts and did everything possible to make an enjoyable stay. We usually hire a car, but didn't this time; it was rge right decision. Uber to and from Faro airport is easy and once there, the trains work well (although the timetable us more aspirational than real). Fares are very low by UK standards. Plenty of places to eat within a 5-10 minute walk. Suitable for couples, but steep stairs may rule it out if you have mobility...

It’s a lovely home in a central area of Old Tavira within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, bus and train stations. The house is spacious and well maintained with a good selection of everyday needs.
