"Pure Formosa Concept Hotel is first class with staff friendliness and excellent service delivery being particularly prominent. From our arrival at the hotel, and at all times thereafter, we were greeted with genuine smiles and good wishes. This is a very well managed establishment. The hotel is modern with real, continual and thorough cleanliness noticeable throughout all areas. There is a major focus on healthy breakfasts with items being continually refreshed, in small amounts throughout serving times. A lively rooftop bar offers impressive, panoramic views over Olhao and the wider Ria Formosa, and islands, that form a natural backdrop to the area. Having visited Olhao twice-annually for many years, we consider that we have now found an excellent hotel that provides exactly what we seek on this beautiful part of The Algarve. We shall return - that is a given."

"Staff were mostly very helpful apart from one of the male reception managers who was rude and dismissive. Housekeeping was generally very good , didn't always replenish toiletries or wash crockery in the room pool area ok not attractive and overlooking the road. It isn’t really a 5 star hotel 4 star at best. Breakfast was good but in a room which was hot and stuffy next to the car park. No where outside to eat breakfast. Definitely upgrade to a sea view room otherwise you are looking at a block of apartments. Not pleasant. I had to request my complimentary bottle of wine ."

"Had such a great stay here - really impressed overall. The hotel was lovely and clean, the room was perfect, and it was so nice having the pool to relax by. The location is ideal too, just a 10 minute walk down to the waterfront. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Such good value for money as well. Honestly couldn’t fault it and would happily stay again."

"Very interesting concept for a hotel to have it inside a shopping complex. We arrived at night while it was raining. The reception staff were not particularly helpful when we asked about food and recommended Uber Eats but most restaurants seem to close at 8pm so we are left with only fast food options. The stay would have been a much better experience if the staff were friendly."
