"This is an idyllic place to stay, away from the crowds, on a wooded hillside surrounded by nature. The hosts, Heidi and Johannes, were very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Tavira, which has a good selection of cafés and restaurants and the nearby village of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo also has a small convenience store. The location is perfect, both for access to beaches and for hiking in the hills."

"The bungalow and its grounds were spacious, well equipped for the heat, with options to have shade - very necessary when it was 33C! The pool was fantastic! We self-catered the whole of our stay - so found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Comfortable beds, sofas etc, with plenty of spare cushions, towels etc. The owner's father responded quickly to any queries we had. All in all, a lovely holiday! Thankyou, Humberto!"

"First off, my host/manager was fantastic. Whenever we needed assistance, she was there no matter the time. She gave us recommendations for restaurants. grocery stores and sightseeing. "Maria is a welcoming and very helpful host. The accommodation is a sprawling and spacious two bedroom ground floor apartment with immediate access to the Praca do Republica. It is very well equipped. There is a very pleasant, private garden, which was a great place to relax in the evening. A great balance between cosy and comfortable. There were lots of mosquitoes in the area at the time of our visit but Maria guided us to ways to minimize them. There is free parking nearby."

"Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. "
