Great stay

We stayed in the property for over a week. 6 adults, 2 children, and one baby. Plenty of space for everyone and the view can't be beat. Owner is very communicative and thorough in the walk through process. You don't need 4x4 to get to the house, but when it's wet and rainy it makes things a lot easier.It's a bit of a haul from the road up to the actual house.Tons of activities within a 15-30 minute drive with Dominical being so close by. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well.Honestly, the best part of the trip was the support from Simone and Vlad. Simone helped coordinate the majority of the activities and lead the snorkeling excursion. She was extremely helpful and flexible and the attention to our group during the outing was outstanding. The packed food for bfast and lunch was delicious. She is very knowledgeable about the area and both Simone and her crew spent a ton of time finding all the different animals to show us. They also went out of their way to help entertain the baby when he got fussy.With so many young kids, eating out each night was a difficult endeavor. Fortunately Chef Vlad came to the rescue! The convenience of being able to come home to a delicious meal and not have to shop, cook, or clean up afterwards is what truly makes this such an amazing vacation. All of the meals were cooked and presented to perfection. Our kids enjoyed it so much that they chose to sit at the bar and watch him cook. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing week in Uvita

This property is ideal if you are looking for a home with beautiful view, to relax in, and good access to many adventures within an hour. Whit was a great host, very friendly, informative, and responsive, and met us upon arrival in the rain to show this beautiful home. Our family’s favorite part of the home is the sunken couch by the pool.Simone was our amazing concierge and ensured prompt responses to questions, assisted in arranging an amazing Corcovado tour, and shared many insights on other options for exploring the area. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Communication from Whit and Simone prior to arrival was excellent, and really helped us prepare for the trip to Uvita.We also had two fantastic dinners with the personal chef, Vlad and highly recommend this experience too. In summary, everything about our stay in Uvita was great and we would highly recommend this location and property. Thank you Whit, Simone, and Vlad for the memories and we hope to return in the future!

Exceptional!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The host was very communicative and helpful leading up to and throughout our stay. The beautiful home design and furnishings made for a comfortable place to spend time together and relax after a long day of playing in the sun. We loved cooking in the well stocked kitchen and eating at the dining room table that had enough seating for everyone in the group. Every bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The kids and adults loved the hot tub and pool. The views from almost every area of the house inside and out are stunning! The location was great with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. We can't recommend this home enough!

Pura Vida

Our group had an excellent time! We can’t say enough about how great Whit was. He was available to answer all of our questions and had great ideas. He has a binder with everything you need to know in it. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The groundskeeper, Chef Vlad, and our tour guide Simone, were all exceptional. I will be going back to this same property and I highly recommend it!

Amazing stay for large family gathering

Among premium properties in Uvita, this one stands apart. It is a unique layout with many thoughtful details included, situated on a steep slope above Uvita with views of the ocean and surrounding nature that exceed photos in beauty and grandeur. You enter the house from above with the primary living area on the upper level, and kitchen and dining area on lower level (game room is actually one level below that). Each bedroom (three up, two down) has its own bathroom, and each has its own special feature (eg, big tub, open air shower, private reading patio, direct access to hot tub patio, etc.). The kitchen is quite impressive with a true commercial-grade range and super-stocked with dishes and appliances. AC, hot water, and laundry were also top-of-the-line, making our stay very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were true to form compared to the photos and very refreshing day or night, even after a day at the beach.Whit is the host, owner, and designer of the property—an ex-pat who has made this property a passion project. He lives locally and is fully invested—he also personally oversees issues that arise on the property, even though others help with the property management. Always reachable. We came as a group of 12, including adults and children ages 8 months to 14 years. I think our younger children gave Whit some initial cause for concern. He explained everything clearly and in detail, and everything was A-OK for young kids there. Would enjoy staying again.

Stunning stay for a ladies trip!

There is not one detail that has been overlooked. This house was more than equipped for our group of 9 ladies to have a great time in Uvita! Whit was very responsive and had excellent communication. We utilized Simone, the house concierge and also Chef Vlad to prepare amazing meals for each evening. When Mother Nature didn't go along with our plans, we still had a fabulous time hanging around the villa with our group playing games, soaking in the hot tub or just lounging & socializing. Highly recommend and we will most definitely be back!

Una Fantástica casa

My family and I (a group of 11 people, including adults and children aged between 15 and 2 years) spent 4 fantastic days at this house in Uvita. The house is very well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. There are fantastic views of the bay and beautiful sunsets. Whitney gave us excellent recommendations and is a very kind and attentive host. Access by car is essential. Vistas fantásticas a la bahía y bonitas puestas de sol.Whitney nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones y es un anfitrión muy amable y atento.Indispensable acceder en coche.

Fabulous!

This property is top notch! If you’re looking for a great location, great view and quality accommodation, this is it. Whitney is an excellent host. Was extremely responsive and helpful for months in advance of our trip and throughout our stay. He gave great tips and suggestions for excursions and recommended the most wonderful Chef (Vladimir). He cooked many meals for us (breakfasts and dinners for us, but he will cook 3 meals a day if requested), including our fresh catch from a wildly successful fishing excursion. It was 5 star meals every time. Uvita is a wonderful little town and easily accessible to fishing, snorkeling, rainforest excursions, beaches, waterfalls and much more. The property is perfect for large family or group of friends. Plenty of room for gathering together and alone time if needed. The outdoor pool/bar/hot tub/sunken seating area has a fantastic view and is the most wonderful place to wake up to hear the howler monkeys and birds, drink coffee, lounge your day away and/or wind down with a glass of wine, music and glorious sunsets. The house is fully stocked and well appointed. A great grocery store is very close by for anything you may need. Thank you, Whitney, for your wonderful accommodations and all of your help! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Peaceful spacious retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. The house was more beautiful than the pictures on the website. Beds were comfortable and we loved both the pool & the hot tub. We were a group of 9 and everyone had their own space and bathroom!! Highly recommend.

Perfectly Amazing!!!

The size and layout were perfect for our groups. The pool, the hot tub, the view were exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing vacation. The villa is decorated in a way that makes you feel as if you are staying in a friends home and not a rental. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need for cooking your own meals. We hired a chef recommended by our host, Vladimir Chinchilla, for breakfast & dinner for 4 of our 8 days. His cost was incredibly reasonable and his dishes were amazing. For us this worked so well and we HIGHLY recommend him. The days we did not have the chef, Ana & Nancy our lovely cleaning staff made breakfast for us also for a very reasonable cost. Our host Whit was helpful ever time we had a question & really anticipated his guests needs. Whit had driver contacts and info about the area that made our first time in Costa Rica easy & enjoyable. We all found it very hard to leave!

Spectacular Views

The sunset views from this property are absolutely fabulous. The kitchen is wonderful with everything you need and all rooms are spacious. We enjoyed the feel of the outdoors while inside and enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. The BBQ is awesome as well. Whit is a great host, thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

House is better in person than in the photos. Perfect set up for coming back from the day and spending the evening with Family and friends. Whit was always available to answer questions. He also has great recommendations. Would definitely be a home to go back to year after year.

Beautifl View!

We had a lovely family vacation and this home was perfect for our group of 9. Lots of room to spread out. After days of hiking and sightseeing, it was perfect to come back to the open air pool and hot tub; especially in rainy season, the covered area was enjoyable. Whitney was easy to reach with any needs. We had a hired Chef and he had plenty of work area to prepare the meals. Thank you Whitney for sharing the home! If we were to come to Uvita again, we'd repeat our stay.

Amazing home with breathtaking views

The listed pictures of this home are great but doesn't give complete justice. This house is spectacular! Our group of 6 couples were completely comfortable. All beds are comfortable, all bedrooms are equipped with ac, beautiful bathrooms, everything you could ask for. This home has multiple common areas which is perfect for the ones who wanted to relax when the others were having a pool party. Property manager, Whitney, is excellent. He gave us great tips as to where to go, when, what to do,etc... He also was quick to respond with any questions or would arrange to have something straightened out quickly..such as the internet/bluetooth connection to the surround sound(our operation error). Perfect for setting the mood of the whole house. To note, we've been coming to this area of CR for over a decade and hands down this has been our most favorite trip mainly due to this home and service. We'll certainly be back! For those of you on a tighter budget, consider adjusting your fund allocation to this property. Comfort & amenities really do make a much better CR experience.
