"the small summer house is located in the garden of bigger property and next to the beautiful swimming pool. This apartment is just right for a couple so my partner and I were very comfortable there. The property is located just 30 min drive from Palermo airport and this location is perfect to visit lots of interesting places. "SUPER CLEAN upstairs 3 bedroom apartment with PLENTY of cookware. That said, it's a bit disingenuous. The main bathroom has neither a shower or a toilet seat as well as an inoperable bath tub. The bathroom with a shower has a door that doesn't close properly. And both have a NO PAPER AT ALL IN THE TOILET policy. "The hotel was pleasant enough. Charming old building, decent room, very nice courtyard for breakfast and dinner. One complaint, we booked a taxi from the airport to the hotel through the hotel. When our flight was delayed and we missed our connection we messaged the hotel well in advance to let them know we would be arriving later in the day. Several hours later we received a message saying we would be charged for 75 euro and they would charge another 75 euro to meet us later that day. It then took multiple calls to eliminate the charge and arrange the revised pickup. The only explanation I can come up with is that they don't check the messages and so can't update the driver. But the fact that they attempted to charge us shows either contempt for their customers or complete ignorance. I would suggest just grabbing a cab at the airport when you arrive. All in all it was okay but would't stay there again."
