"Mekong Riverview is an excellent option if you want to have a unique experience in Luang Prabang. It may not have the amenities of a five-star hotel, but I enjoyed it a lot more than staying at a cookie-cutter five-star hotel. The architectural distinctness, the sense of privacy, and most importantly, the helpfulness of staff made the stay so pleasant. In particular, they let me use my room after I checked out so I could stay in an air-conditioned room (not common in LP) until the taxi driver to the airport arrived. Definitely recommended. "

It is the previous French Governors mansion that was converted to 20+ room resort with bunnies and other fauna roaming the grounds. The rooms were right out of an Indochina romance with private gardens and an outdoor soaking tub. The stone tiles were pleasant on the feet"

"Pullman Luang Prabang was a fantastic experience: peaceful, tranquil and luxurious. Every member of staff was dedicated to making our stay wonderful, the grounds were tranquil and there were lots of lovely locations to relax in, including 2 large pools. The outstanding service provided by David and the hotel staff is what made our holiday so memorable. David looked after us every day, including his days off! From arranging day tours to bringing lunch to us by the pool, all our needs were more than met. We we also given a room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise. All room balconies face the lovely rice fields, so there's no fear of missing out, wherever you stay. The hourly shuttle to town centre was very convenient, so there was no need to worry about the hotel being located a bit further than expected. We were even dropped directly at our restaurant! The hotel rabbits, cats and buffalo were a delightful addition to the lovely environment. I'm certain that anyone who stays here will be impressed and leave with fond memories of swaying rice fields, warm local smiles and a feeling of wanting to come back."

"Great location and very upscale. Beautiful hotel and I had this amazing room where I could watch the monks on early AM rounds. Staff was best I have seen at hotels and really loved Luang Prabang. I could have stayed for a month or more, Staff helped with tourism and restaurant excellent as well. Highest Rating"
