"Staying on the Isle des Embiez was fabulous. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The island is beautiful and a wonderful place to explore in the daytime, with small beaches to find. In the evenings we had wonderful food at Sarti, followed by the magical DJ at Sunset evening and the live band the next night. "

"Wonderful stuff and relaxing stay. Not at all over crowded with a clean beach and spectacular views. Great location and room. A few things would have helped: The restaurants are good but over priced, the elevator is slow, and beach chairs and drinks are pricey but I suppose to be expected. The area is interesting to me as someone used to touristy American resort areas. We are used to lots of places to book excursions and that is definitely not what Bandol is about. No lines for dolphin cruises, limited kayak and water sport rental options, etc. Expect to simply relax on the beach everyday. Great for me, not as much for kids."
