"A beautiful home with wonderful views over Cassis. We were a large family group of mixed ages, the youngest was 11 years old. For families with younger children the uphill walk from the village would be more of a challenge but taxis were relatively easy to access. The walk to and from the village took around 20-30 mins. "We had a very nice stay with our adult children in Giens. Nicole is very nice, but she speaks no other language but French. The house is really beautiful, but needs a ‘little’ update. The toilets don’t flush very well and the shower has bad drainage. There were only two sun beds at the swimming pool for a house of 8 people. There were other chairs but not really comfortable. "We stayed for a week at the end of September so we could go to a friend's wedding. The weather was beautiful around 28degrees although chilly some nights. We swam in the clean heated pool and managed to swim in the nearby Mediterranean which was wonderful. The villa has very good facilities and the owners are friendly and very helpful. "Upon booking, the villa appeared promising. However, our stay was marred by several issues. Upon arrival, we noticed overflowing trash bins from prior guests. Despite our expectations, no one came to clear them, leaving us to manage our waste in an already congested space.
