Stayed here for convenience to roam around Banff downtown and Banff national parks/lakes. Price is affordable on how close are you to places and accessibility to buses or shuttles around the area. The lodge is also clean and well-maintained by staff. I really had an amazing stay here.

This hotel is a great location, next to the river and a ten minute walk to Banff Avenue. The hotel is older looking, but, …. it was kept clean, and the staff were very nice. There is no dining onsite, but fantastic coffee and baked goods at Wild Flour, and fast food at Tim Horton’s, both a five minute walk.

The hotel has an excellent location. It’s right next to the river and within easy walking distance to downtown Banff. Our room had a balcony which overlooks the river and is a peaceful retreat at the beginning and end of a busy day.

This hotel is straight out of the 90s and in dire need of upgrades. That said, it was cleaner than many higher end hotels I’ve stayed at, although there was a tear in the sheet right in the middle of the bed so, which I’m not sure how housekeeping would have missed. Regardless, was a decent stay. Rooms have balconies overlooking the river. For the price compared to other hotels in Banff, I would definitely stay again

Excellent value for money in a great location- 5 minutes walk to Banff Avenue and all the bars, restaurants and shops. The decor is a little dated but the hotel and our room were clean and we found our stay to be very comfortable. Staff were always friendly and helpful and secure parking was available. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent amenities. Older but well maintained hotel. We had a river view room. Pool, hot tub and eucalyptus steam room at sister hotel was the best after a long day. Did the buffet on Friday at Crave restaurant. Great views, excellent food and value. Would stay here again.
