This place is a bog-standard motel, sold at luxury lodge prices. (I don't know where the photo in this listing came from -- all I ever saw was a parking lot. The driveway was occupied during my entire stay by a large tour bus.) The furnishings were adequate and the bed comfortable. But the soundproofing is poor -- I was awakened at 2:30 am by people talking loudly in another room, and then again at 4:30 am by people talking loudly and slamming doors in the parking lot. I haven't had such a miserable noise experience in years.

This is an older property but it is very clean, and the location and view makes it perfect. We’ve stayed in other Banff hotels, but this one has become our favorite.

We always enjoy staying at Bow View Lodge. The staff are amazing and so happy to help in any way that they can. The room was so clean and comfortable. We appreciated that it was quiet and very easy parking was so safe. We recommend this hotel for anyone.
