"Enjoyed my stay at the Menai hotel, my room was a good size and clean and comfortable too. The hotel breakfast was very good also. The hotel's location is in Upper Bangor and is not far from the railway station and near bus routes and not far from the town centre either. The limited interaction I had with hotel staff I can say that they were pleasant and helpful. Overall, definitely no complaints."

"The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

"The property was run down and I wouldn’t have expected to pay over £100 a night for the stay. The front entrance wasn’t in use due to maintenance. Although very cute, the owners young children were in the public areas and their toys in the foyer. The hotel was close to the pier which we wanted to visit."

"We had a lovely stay here! The property is beautiful, spacious, and offers amazing views. It’s also conveniently located,just a 20-minute drive to Llanberis. The host was fantastic, with great communication throughout our stay, and they left a thoughtful welcome pack with tea, coffee, wine, cakes, and more, which was a really nice touch. "Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village. Plenty of local shops close by. Very comfortable place, all the amenities to make it home from home. Unfortunately I was working, but it was lovely to come home every evening, nice and warm and welcoming. Great wifi and plenty of DVDs etc to entertain yourself. I could imagine in Summer sitting outside in the garden and relaxing. Well worth a visit. "
