"When I dreamt of visiting Tuscany, Villa Olivi was what I dreamt of. It was perfect for our friends and us. The views are incredible, and the house was very comfortable and accommodating. As withers have expressed, there is one tight squeeze going up the hill in a car, but otherwise the whole experience was magical."

We were celebrating a special birthday with friends and couldn’t have found a more perfect, relaxed setting in which to enjoy the occasion.The apartments and grounds provide ample space for a large party with a backdrop of the Tuscan countryside and view of the Appian Alps. The hosts are kind and considerate, and the meal we had catered by the staff was lovely. Every day was an adventure walking in nature, by lakes, forests, swimming or hanging out around the pool."

"We had a really fantastic experience at La Ninfa hotel. From check in until check out Alessandro and all his staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We had a room with a perfect view of the river. The breakfast is delicious with a lovely selection of food. The restaurant is a must to try for dinner - top class quality food beautifully presented. The thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel - thank you!"

"We left a big piece of our collective hearts in Treppignana! The massive, rustic building was perfect for our family group. When you travel a long way (Canada and Norway) it’s great to be impressed and that we were! Everyone was kind and accommodating to us. It was a very personal experience. We had the pizza chef come to feed us one evening. This is most highly recommended. I got pretty good at driving the road up to the palazzo but I recommend two things: at first, don’t do it in the dark, and be sure to rent a narrow, sturdy vehicle. Overall a 10/10 unforgettable experience. "

"Whats a fantastic Vaction. Our host was exceptionally welcoming & made us feel instantly at home. The accommodation is better than the pictures. Fantastic location, 8mins drive to fantastic pizzeria, 15min to large supermarket, the list is endless. The views are breathtaking, we must have 1000 pictures. We will definitely be rebooking next year. "

"We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table too! Just a great stay, everything we hoped for. "Cool comfortable house high in the hills. Lovely setting a mix of gardens, olive and cherry orchards and woodland. We breakfasted to the song of blackcaps with bee eaters, hoopoes and buzzards glimpsed in flight. We felt very close to wildlife. The best pool we have ever swumIn. Clear mountain air. Delightful Barga and other villages nearby. Good places to eat within 10 minites drive. Lovely hosts, nearby if we had a problem but discrete. Arrived with delicious homegrown cherries and courgettes. "
