"This is the second time we have stayed at The Moelwyn . Always a lovely welcome. At £70 per night for the room it was fine . We were able to bring our own food in to eat at the hotel- one evening we ate fish and chips with a bottle of wine on the terrace with a lovely view of the castle and seaside nearby - perfect "

"Stayed on the ground floor. Had a double bed in one room with access to the bathroom. two singles beds sofa comfy chair, tv microwave fridge in another room and access to an outside large patio area. Beds were very comfy rooms were clean, tea and coffee making facilities were supplied with a bottle of milk left in the fridge for us with 3 bottles of water. Breakfast was great fruit juices, cereals and full English cooked fresh. Will definitely stay here whenever I come back to Barmouth. Proprietors were very friendly and informative."

"Staff were lovely, very friendly beautiful place ,clean i was so pleased we stayed in the mansion house it had everything you could possibly need, bed was comfortable, our dog settled ok ,i would definitely recommend it to anyone pools ,tennis etc the bar was lovely and friendly owners food was lovely, nice cosy atmosphere loved it😘"

"Bit of a blip at check in (which wasn’t the hotels fault tbh) but James was quick to rectify the situation and all the staff were excellent (well done James,Sion,Baz and Charlotte for your very attentive treatment We will definitely be returning "

"We were running late and I called and told them that we were going to be later than expected and the girl was so nice she told us that it was okay they were going to wait for us, we finally got there after 11pm and they were there waiting for us, she said they were concerned because of the road and it was raining and misty, they were so nice and friendly and the gentleman helped bringing our luggage upstairs. I give them 10/10. "
