"The cottage was lovely, Jaxson the Cocker Spaniel was overjoyed with its location and walking facilities. We had a fab time in the most beautiful and tranquil area of the Welsh countryside. Local amenities were limited only by transport requirements as the Fairbourne shops were a short drive away. However overall that was a small inconvenience given the fab location and cottage. "The barn is beautiful and has been a pleasure to stay at. The layout works well, from the large open living space upstairs to the two bedrooms downstairs. There is plenty of storage space although for the second bedroom, this is in the hall area. We knew the area well as we had been on several previous occasions, staying in a property on the beach front. However, the ownership changed a few years ago and we have been looking for a suitable alternative and we have certainly found it....

"The views were amazing, and the house was remodelled to make the most of them, so you could curl up in a comfy chair and watch the rain roll in off the sea or mountains (it is in Wales, after all!) without leaving conservatory/living room/bedrooms. The new kitchen was great as well, fine for cooking and chatting with family at the same time."
