Nice hotel right on Galway Bay. I visited in late September but would be lovely in summer. Spacious room, good breakfast. Spa services available but I didn’t use them. About 1.5 miles / 25 minute pleasant walk to Galway town center. Large hotel that seems to be used for conferences and meeting point for larger tour groups.

This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. Wonderful location and amazing staff!

Decor is very dramatic. Nice place, nice staff. Pretty clean, food was good. Nothing bad to say but if you don’t own a Valentino suit, you might not match the furniture.

Great location for walking downtown Galway

Staff was very friendly and helpful, Breakfast was excellent.

Great location for easy access to Latin Quarter. Buffet breakfast was delicious—options for all. Parking in the garage next door was easy access to hotel and a discounted rate.

The room was gorgeous, the staff extremely kind and helpful, and the meals were really very good. The spa and pool were better than anything I could have dreamt up! Sauna, steam room, hot tub, huge pool and work out room were all top notch!

This stay was less than two weeks after a stay in a nearby hotel. The experiences were like night and day, The Maldron is the better hotel, by a long shot.
