"Hotel was amazing and staff and food and hotel in general were wonderful. The spa treatment I had was amazing - spa facilities were small and could do with a bit of upgrading in areas. "
"The Lamb is a gem, and I highly recommend booking a reservation for dinner while you stay. It was the best meal of my trip hands down! Adorable place, walkable in a small town, what more could you want! "
"The stay was lovely and the hotel and all the staff were fantastic. The breakfast and evening meals were cooked to perfection a the location of the hotel ideal. I recommend a visit to anyone."
"We enjoyed the castle experience, but our room was by the front desk/lobby and we heard everything that was going on there until late and early in the morning. I paid additional for an extra bed which came as a cot, small, thin mattress, uncomfortable! The food however was the highlight of our stay, do stay for tea time and dinner it’s well worth it! "
"We had a wonderful stay at Saddlers :). Milky is a wonderfully attentive host. Attended to our every need & was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and places of interest too. We had a very relaxing stay."

"Lovely pub and hotel. We walked here from the train station and didn't realise it would take that long. It took about 20/25 minutes to get to the city centre from the hotel. The rooms are lovely and the shower was great. The room sies get hot at night but there was a fan in the room. I would stay again but would cab it to and from."
"Our stay was for our daughters wedding, there were four us over four nights and on addition a makeup, hair stylist and chauffeur on the day of the wedding with an abundance of personal private space for parking as well as internally. The barn has original weathered oak beams with mod all the mod cons. The place is hugely spacious. A luxury stay."

8/10 Good
"We had a really good stay here. We loved getting away and thought the location and house were excellent. The garden is lovely and the facilities were all good. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were some things that would make this holiday rental even better however:1. The garden is so nice but it’s crying out for a bbq. Obviously depends on your preference but this would be a simple addition that would give options to guests2. Provision of more than one dish washer tablet and washing machine pod would’ve been a nice additional touch. Similarly, things like kitchen towel and salt were not there. These can be purchased but it would have been great to have them on arrival. 3. We had 5 guests but only 4 towels were provided. 4. Some of the write up is a touch inaccurate, it lists a balcony when there isn’t one. It mentions being rural and in the city centre (it is definitely rural but close to Arundel). Neither of these points negatively impacted us but if you are looking for something specific relating to either it is worth noting. Overall though, our stay was excellent and I’d recommend this holiday cottage to others. Access was easy, the living set up worked well, beds were comfortable and it had most (but not all) of the basics covered. The proximity to arundel was great and the coffee shop down the road is brilliant (we ended up going there almost daily). "
