"Las instalaciones del hotel estan bien mantenidas, es limpio y ordenado. El gimnasio bien equipado, con sala para pilates suelo o yoga. Sauna impecable! Tiene un kids club lindo con varios juegos para los niños (de mesa o video juegos). La ubicación del hotel es 10/10, solo hay que cruzar una calle para llegar a la playa. Se puede ir caminando a varios restaurantes vista al mar. La playa frente al hotel es muy agradable, con reposeras y quitasol. Cabe destacar el desayuno buffet y la atencion del staff del restaurant impecable! Super atentos y amables. Pero si quieres ir a descansar tienes que considerar que: - Dicen ser un hotel para familias, pero claramente NO lo es. Hay convenciones con fiestas hasta tarde (se escucha desde la habitación la musica, no esta bien aislado el ruido). Uno escucha a la gente gritando en los pasillos post fiesta. Lamentablemente el front desk un desastre, mala voluntad y no son amables. El dia que llegamos a hacer el check in, las personas del lobby (informaciones) y front desk ni siquiera un “hola, que tal.” No nos explicaron nada del hotel, que actividades habian o las instalaciones. Te llaman a la pieza en horarios inadecuados, cuando uno duerme (21:00) o tocan la puerta a las 08:00 para hacer la habitación. Como NO es un hotel familiar, NO hay consideracion por los niños pequeños. Preguntamos por late check out y la respuesta fue No, una pena que el staff del front desk sea asi de inflexible y desconsiderado con los niños pequeños."

"Frente a la playa y el bonus track es que en frente siempre hay un móvil de la policía así que es 100% seguro! Hay un chiringuito abierto toda la noche sobre la playa para tomar algo! Excelente la ubicación!"

"The room was clean and the reception staff had flat affect and not very friendly. The card key malfunction several times and had to come down to reception 6 times to correct it. The staff at the front desk weren’t very friendly and or very helpful."

"Listen, not the best hotel, but the breakfast is good and all the fun nightlife stuff is really close by. It’s not safely walkable so there’s that. It could definitely be cleaner omg"

Othon Palace Copacabana Rio

"When we arrived at Othon Palace around 2:30 PM, there was a long line for check-in, but one of the staff members kindly assisted us right away and took us to her office since we were traveling with young kids. She mentioned there would be an additional $60 dollars per night for an upgraded room, but unfortunately, the room she offered was not available in the end. I was surprised when we entered room 1511 and noticed cracks on the wall beside the door. Considering how much we paid for this hotel, I expected more. The furniture and carpet also felt old and outdated. The best part of the stay was definitely the beachfront location, although we could still hear noise from people across the street as well as the waves at night. The buffet breakfast was great and offered a good variety, which we really enjoyed during our stay. The pool area was also very nice. While the pool was not heated, the water was slightly warm and still enjoyable. At checkout, my husband was mistakenly charged for the upgraded room that we never received. It was only corrected and refunded after I went back to the front desk and asked about the charges."
