"Everything was first class and five star all the way. The rooms were spectacular. We had a great partial Bay view, the breakfast they served in the morning was wonderful. "After researching hotels etc. I chose this hotel. I wanted more of a country feel to it and not right in downtown where it would be noisier & possibly hard to park your car. The front desk could be more friendlier & cheerful especially on the phone. Usually I call the property directly so I can have an idea of the surroundings since this was my first time there. I took a chance anyway even if the person on the phone did not elaborate. The place is close enough to Rockland where we went for the Lobster Festival. The room was very clean & nicely decorated. The grounds were well kept. I enjoyed walking barefoot on the lawn where I did my morning stretches. The place also has cottages in the back of the main building. I loved the heated indoor pool & the jacuzzi although the room could use more ventilation due to chlorine. The breakfast was wonderful not just continental but full breakfast. I wished there were more fruits though not just bananas. I loved the waffles & blueberry bread. The place is also very close to Hannaford grocery where you can get lobsters & they will steam them for you. Ice cream shop right next door & gas station nearby…
Although we only stayed 2 days ( Thu-Sat) we enjoyed the place & the surrounding towns very much. I would come here again for a longer stay.

"Better than expected. Quaint little cabin. Cleanliness is a 10. Owner has gone above and beyond to think of every little detail. Decor is spot on. Private, quiet, and homey. Close to restaurant and within reasonable walking distance to the lighthouse! Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and will help you if you aren’t sure exactly where you want to go/so. We took some of his advice and it was worth it. Definitely would consider staying here again! "
"Great Location. Near Young's Lobster Pound and Perry's Nut House. Within a few minutes to downtown Belfast. Incredible view of the Bay. You can walk down to the water . You can't swim there, but can look at the rocks and shoreline. "
"We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door. We got great nights of sleep there due to the quiet atmosphere all around and the comfortable bed. The shower head had the best water pressure of any we have ever encountered--even better than ours here at home! Staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to know a good pizza place and they directed us to a terrific spot. We can't recommend it highly enough! "
