New, top deck couples retreat overlooking Southwest harbor!

"Wonderful accommodations! We loved staying on the quiet side of the island. Easy, 20 minute drive to Acadia National Park entrance or Bar Harbor. Good seafood and ice cream within walking distance. The host provided lots of resources and recommendations for exploring the island."
Cozy 1-bedroom Efficiency in Village Center, Southwest Harbor- "Manset Room"

"Great place! Cute and clean! Looks like it was recently renovated. They had everything that you could need in the apartment. Host was responsive to questions. Having laundry in the unit was a big plus. The only negative I could say is that it is on a main road, so if you are a light sleeper, you should use ear plugs."
Peaceful Getaway: Tiny Home Studio in Sedgwick, Maine

"This was such a great spot! Not too far from Deer Isle/Stonington or Acadia/Bar Harbor. The property is quiet and clean, and very peaceful. The owners stopped to say hi while I was outside enjoying the outdoor space and they couldn’t be nicer. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet getaway but close to things to."
"This is a great property. We stayed for a long weekend and found it to be well equipped with kitchen items. It was clean, quiet and private. It's about a 25 minute drive to Bar Harbor. This was not an issue for us, as we prefer to stay in the less busy areas of MDI and there are various points of access to Acadia. The hosts add a lot of nice touches that you dont always find at other places. The grill was cleaned and maintained with nice for no extra cost. There was wood provided for the fire pit and a welcome basket to full of s'mores items, bug spray and a citronella candle, etc. most of the rooms had an air conditioner for when it got warm in the middle of the day. I would definitely recommend this property as it offers a lot and was fairly priced."
Southwest Harbor Cottage steps away the Ocean and Acadia National Park
10/10 Excellent
"The house is a classic old farmhouse that has been nicely renovated. The wooden floors sparkle and the house generally looks better than in the listing on VRBO. The furniture is simple and tasteful - classic styles in the bedrooms. Good firm mattresses. Updated bathrooms with good showers and plenty of hot water and pressure. The sun porch offers some separation from the living room, which is good for larger groups. The living room has very comfortable couches and is well setup for TV watching. All the downstairs rooms have plenty of lighting, with dimmers in each room which is a great design choice. The kitchen is large and well laid out and equipped with plenty of utensils. Excellent refrigerator and freezer with lots of ice cube trays, something that I don’t find in some rental properties but which is really essential! The setting is rural but not remote. I saw a mother deer and her spotted fawn walking through the backyard into the woods behind the house - a special treat even though there are lots of deer in Manset. The location of the house is very convenient to the restaurants in Southwest Harbor and Bass Harbor - no need to go to Bar Harbor at all unless you want to, of course. All in all, a very pleasant spot. Would definitely return if my plans bring me back to the area."
