"We loved our stay. Our room looked recently refurbished and it was a great bonus to have a separate 'half' of our large room for our teenage sons. The pool etc were a great addition, we enjoyed the games room and the wood panelled bar. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the waiting staff friendly and polite. "We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel."

"Older decently kept property. Stairs were an issue for my disabled husband but we managed. Never could get the tv to work. Lots of animal, I suspect cat waste in the gravel leading to the entrance."

"Very good. We were there when it was very hot. Provided us with a fan for the room. Had medication that needed refrigeration that they happily looked after. An amazing meal in the restaurant"

"Fantastic wild location - remote, but not too far from Stranraer. Some great local walks, and sunsets. The hotel is quiet, small and unique. Our dog was very welcome, and got extra treats for breakfast. The food was amazing - surprising, given the remote location. Room was clean and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly. There's an EV charger just next to the hotel, which was a welcome bonus. Definitely recommended."

"While the outside of the building has seen better days the staff were very helpful, there was motorcycle parking I was comfortable with , and the room was spacious and clean. Pub next door did a decent dinner."
