"We love the Bershire Mountain Lodge. We've stayed here five other times but this time we do have a few very minor negatives. 1) The cabinet door under the kitchenette sink had a loose hinge. We messaged the staff and requested that they wait until after we checked out to repair the hinge. We hope the hinge was repaired before the next guest checked in. 2) The toilet flush handle was slightly cracked but still functional. We forgot to notify the staff; it was barely noticeable. 3) The guest or owner in the room above our room walked very loudly. We were used to hearing noises from people walking in the hall but this was our first time hearing footsteps through the ceiling. Other than those three items, our stay was excellent. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. The housekeeping crew were unobtrusive. The long driveway to the ample parking lot gives enough distance from the busy"

"I spilled an ENTIRE cup of cocoa I was making for my niece. The clerk on was a very kind, friendly young man named Paul. I have worked as a chef for 30 years, the cocoa went EVERYWHERE. He got a mop bucket , I started cleaning my mess up I just know what its like to walk into a mess!! Left by someone else. Paul said "you dont have to finish, ill do it no problem. He was a VERY kind young man. And he was helpful & he cleaned up the rest of the spill. I think your LUCKY to have such kind helpful employees. Just a side note. The hot tub was wayyy hotter then the thermometer( I think). It was unbearable to sit in it for more then a few minutes. And I LOVE being WARM, but everyone around( 3 others came in to use it but could not sit in it for more then a few seconds. Maybe lower it a bit now that winter is GONE!! Also housekeeping was knocking at our door before it was even 11 am!! Were literally just finishing packing up, and shes knocking. I travel extensively. I know check out is 11am. Unless your in vegas snd pay 30$ for a late check out. Beautiful , clean awesome staff(Paul). Clean!! Well be back!"

"The staff were very polite and helpful. But the property was under construction, so you had to walk over a block to your car and park it or you can do a valet that was never present? From what I was told from other people that were staying there is that the place I’ve been under construction for a couple years now that was not advertise that was going on so it was kind of frustrating."

"This was a solid 5-star property, and I have rented a lot of VRBO properties. I know the area, and the street well, and was not disappointed in my expectations. I gave the description of the property 4 stars, only because I did not realize that the single was in the attic, but we did not need to use it for our number of occupants, and perhaps I simply missed that reference. I will stay here again if I return with so many friends!! Thank you for such a wonderful, well-equipped, clean and beautifully located house!"

"The apartment was spacious and while dated, it was clean. Would have been nice except for extreme lack of hospitality. Check-in was pretty awful, had to call to get door code, then they only sent the code for the room, not the front door code (door was open when I got there, so ended up locked out when I took dog out at night). Property owner was very rude about mistake. Bring earplugs, walls are thin and they were doing work upstairs late into the night, completely oblivious to fact that they had guests in the building."

"Imagine walking into a cold home at 6 pm and not being able to find or operate the heating system.After trying to contact the rental agency and finding the wall panel (light out in the hallway made it more difficult) my partner and I took matters into our own hands.We popped open the panel and saw there were batteries,but could not replace them.We took the risk and pulled this portion off of the wall.We did the work that should have been done before we arrived.Searching the home there were many batteries,but not AA.So we went in both directions on Rt 7 and found a Stop and Shop.There we purchased 4 new AA's and two bundles of firewood and starters.Considering the only two questions I had for you were pertaining to heat and the fireplace...I was particularly put out.Berkshire rentals offered to pay for the batteries and the wood.Unfortunately the damage was already done.If I had arrived after sunset,this would have been a complete fiasco.I would have turned around and asked for a complete refund. Having used another rental company many times throughout my travels,this is completely opposite of what we have experienced.Our last trip in the Eastern Townships of Quebec,we arrived at 10 pm.The 350 year old farmhouse was heated and a fire was stacked only requiring a match.I would fire your current administrative service on the spot.I would not recommend your home until you either assume control over the workings of the home or find another provider of services."
