"The hotel is very nice but the elevators reeked of death for some reason. Like I had to hold my breath. Also on the elevators, people are vandalizing the pictures drawing inappropriate images and other things. Elevators definitely need an updo."

"Definitely family friendly. The karaoke was fun to listen to. The bar staff was very friendly. The house was nicely decorated and clean. We did have a couple issues. The front door had a slight gap next to the frame and ants got in. The balcony had ants all over it as well. The pool wasn’t the best experience as it had a smell to it that you would smell at a zoo."

"Room was clean and spacious. I had two queens/sofa bed room. Pool was nice, towels were replenished. Elevator was a bit sketchy and the breakfast was kind of a nightmare. I dont think it counts as a breakfast buffet when you cant serve yourself. I had to throw away my biscuits and gravy, she gave me one split biscuit with 3-4 ladles of gravy and it was so bland and soggy. Keep in mind the hotel is right on the strip so making a left turn will add at least 5 minutes to your trip."

Grand Oaks Hotel

"Grand Oaks is a good place to stay for the value. Your rooms will not be refreshed unless you personally request that service from the front desk. Location is ideal, and we found the room and bath facilities to be in great shape. Stayed 3 consecutive days, and the pre-packaged eggs and sausage breakfast just didn't cut it after the first day. Never-the-less, I'd have to give a thumbs up for overall accommodations. My only complaint during our stay was the failure to enforce "quiet hours" as promised. I had neighbors in the room next door who were at pitch voice level in a verbal fight and a couple of loud object bangs that lasted from about 3:30 a.m. - 4:30 a.m. I was awaken by the disturbance, and finally walked to the front desk to ask for intervention. This was taking place 3 doors down the hall from the front desk."

"Stayed here last week and our 1 bedroom 1 bath condo was very clean. Had a murphy bed for our teen daughter. Nice view of the lake and marina. Pools were really crowded as to be expected in 90-100 degree weather. The indoor water park is much needed. So many other things to do tho. Would definitely stay here again!"
