We were at the end of our Panama/Costa Rica trip and had actually just decided to cut it short because I was starting to feel sick. But we had this last hike to try out and I was just hoping both that I would feel well enough and also that our car would be able to make it back on the very steep gravel road back from the parking spot (after almost getting stuck around Monteverde earlier on the trip). As we’ve been getting used to we were first to arrive so we had this awesome place completely to ourselves for a little while in the morning before other tourists started to drop in. "Loved the view and the service. So accommodating . Had a very nice view of the ocean and the surroundings were very nice. The only suggestion I would make is that the pool deck is very slippery with or without shoes when it is wet. Had a great time with the staff they were wonderful people. Loved our stay"

"WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. THE FOOD IS OLD, STALE, HORRIBLE, I ASKED FOR CLEAN TOWELS AND THE OWNER AND I GOT INTO A SHOUTING MATCH. HE EVEN TOLD ME GO BACK TO AMERICA. WE CHECKED OUT AN ENTIRE DAY EARLIER AND WAS CHARGED A 25$ US CANCELLATION FEE. FOR WHAT??? Only God knows. STAY AWAY FROM THERE. ITS DESERTED, NOTHING TO DO AND NOT AS DESCRIBED AS IN THE PUCTURES ON THE WEBSITE."

"The hotel overall was great. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a little old & plain. We did observe portions of the hotel closed for refurbishing. The breakfast & dinner were excellent.
