Ryokans in Bas-Saint-Laurent

Beautiful historic property with vintage features in excellent condition. Spotlessly clean, friendly/helpful staff, very useful amenities, convenient walk to local attractions (salmon river, restaurants). Will happily stay here yet again!

David makes everyone feel right at home. He is a wonderful cook as well.

No AC, but had ceiling fan. impeccable place. Absolute luxury and wonderful breakfast. Loved it!

Two major issues we had. First was getting to the property, apparently Google has not been updated and therefore takes you back on the highway instead of going on the correct road. So, a big pain when already tired from driving. Everything about check in was awesome, and we were given coupons for breakfast and told it starts at 6am. This was the second issue. Great place and right on the lake at a reasonable price. Sebastian who checked us in was the nicest of guys and really helpful in English which was hugely appreciated. They have a really good restaurant too right next to the motel. Thoroughly recommend.

We were given a tour of the apartment upon arrival. It was very clean, spacious, and fully furnished. We had everything we needed along with a balcony and chairs overlooking some green fields as well as the parking lot. We also had a cabana on the balcony with mosquito net. One of the positives was the washer and dryer in the apartment which came in handy after a few days of traveling.

This was a comfortable, very quiet 3rd floor room with a view of the St. Lawrence River. I was in room 302 and I found it to be spacious with plenty of cabinet space. I particularly appreciated the carpeted flooring as I could do my yoga. Staff fabulous. I didn’t eat at restaurant, but they were busy. There is no elevator, but this was not an issue for me since I only stayed one night and not a lot to carry but staff was available to assist.

Everything about our stay here was delightful. The rooms, the staff, the breakfasts, the location,and, most importantly, the view looking out to the St. Lawrence river was all we could want. I highly recommend this auberge and hope we can return sometime. John G.

Very nice staff bilingual. Very spacious apartment, witch washer, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and neat. Playground in front of the house and a 5 min walk to the beach. Amazing sunrises over the Gulf of St Lawrence can be witnessed right from your bedroom or the balcony. Plenty of restaurants and a Cafe in 5 min walking radius.
