"Owner was helpful, apartment was on the smaller side, but very well located and quite beautiful - grocery store is a few streets away, and the old Cité and the train station are a measly 10 minutes away. AC worked better than expected, which is a major plus considering we were there during heat wave.
Strong recommend as long as the limited space is not a problem for you."

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly friendly and took the time to share their favorite restaurants, sights, and local recommendations, which made exploring Carcassonne so much easier. They also offered to pick us up from the train station and drove us to pick up our rental car for a very reasonable price, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The location is perfect and within walking distance of all the main attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety...

Exceptional service and an excellent location close to the medieval Cite. The staff were friendly & accommodating, the rooms were very clean, and the complimentary water in the minibar was a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh and generous selections. Laundromat is close by (for those extended stays like mine). Walk to Castle and nearby restaurants. Great staff,very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts not so good, but that’s all there is,($15 E for cereal) parking is a longer walk, so unload and load at hotel then walk back. Good layover spot.

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Our bathroom window offered an amazing view of the castle. The couple who run the property are always ready to help. We loved the pool and garden areas, plus the shared kitchen which is fully equipped. We were traveling with the baby and got a crib in our room (for a supplement).

This hotel was wonderful. Carcassonne is a special town and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located at the base of the castle with excellent views of the castle and surrounding hillsides. The restaurant offers an open-air experience, and we enjoyed happy hour wine in the evening then a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room itself was the best part - eloquent yet comfortable. We will stay here again when we visit Carcassonne.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Citè Carcassonne, the car par is just outside, and the baggage porter gave us a ride up to the property, being inside the Castle walls will give you a unique feeling of connection to the past

They have a special parking lot where you leave your car and they have car service to pickup you and your luggage and deliver you to the hotel. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city...
