"Room was great, modern with a Victorian flare. Whole facility was well kept and clean. Lots of parking if you arrive early or mid week. Weekends are busy but there is parking on nearby side streets. Well within walking distance to downtown if you don’t mind an uphill walk on the way back. Staff were helpful and polite. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone."

"The internet/Wi-Fi kept cutting off intermittently and I was constantly having to sign back in to it, which was really annoying. On my last day it took me 7 attempts to sign in to it, which is ridiculous. Breakfast was good especially having fresh milk with tea - so hate long life milk. The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful - can't praise them enough. We did have a fire alarm go off at 3.40 am one morning, which turned out to be a false alarm. None of the staff said anything to anyone in the morning, which I found very bad, as an explanation of being woken at 3.40 am by an alarm which sounded similar to an American tornado warning was not fun!"

"The Spa wasnt available, but they gave out complimentary vouchers for the Thermae Spa across the road. The room and the hotel was fabulous. The staff were very kind, and always ready to assist. A quality hotel."

" If you’re hoping for a relaxing stay, this hotel may disappoint unless you’re on the top floor. Our first night was ruined by constant creaking floorboards from the room above, and although we were moved, the same issue occurred again. The rooms are in need of a thorough deep clean and proper soundproofing. To make matters worse, we were very disappointed with the lack of concern shown by staff when we raised these issues at check-out. Overall, the experience was poor and not worth the price paid. "

"Poor customer service, so difficult to get hold of reception, needed to make a change to my booking, was unable to get through and ended up loosing my money due to hotel not answering the phone. Really poor"

"Breakfast has plenty of options in the buffet & menu! As well the bar & restaurant are great! The staff is extremely knowledgeable & helpful, and the location is great if you want to be close to all tourist spots but stay somewhere a bit more quiet. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bath!"
