PROS: great location, well appointed apartment, lots of windows with great cross ventilation. CONS: 3 story walk up (no elevator), street slightly noisy in the AM Would stay there again …."

"Delightful apartment on Allay de Tourny. Short walk to Grand Theatre and tram stop that takes you to all the highlights. Grocery store around the corner. Several excellent brasseries nearby. Roomy, airy, quiet apartment with full well-equipped kitchen, washer, separate dryer, and elevator. Living room couches roomy and very comfortable."

"The apartment was well presented and clean, warm and comfortable in a lovely quiet building. The location was excellent with an easy walk to the centre and the tram stop virtually on the doorstep for going further out of town. There were supermarkets, a fruit shop and an artisan bread shop within walking distance and the kitchen was well equipped for self catering with all equipment in good working order. The owners were friendly and accommodating and responsive to any questions we had going...

"A strange and great place to stay. Excellent access to everything in the center of Bordeaux. A big apt and the best part is the excellent and private space out back. It's really nice to have that in town. The rooms do have a strange layout which might bother some - and it can be dark in some spaces. The main bedroom has a pull out couch for a bed and the windows open right onto the street so it can be noisy when trying to sleep - it didn't bother me much except when the trash collectors come...

"We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was well equipped, clean, and nicely decorated. The location was perfect for us. It was close to the historic enter of town with shops, restaurants and sites near by. We felt safe walking late at night. Alice was helpful and recommended some great restaurants for us."

"The apartment has an unbeatable location — open the front window and you’re looking at Porte Caillhau, like your own personal castle. Trams are an easy walk, and you can jog along the river. Should mention it’s on the third floor — that’s fourth to Americans. My partner thought that would be a problem, but he quickly got used to it. Good exercise!"

"This elevator accessible apartment is within a block of a Tram stop with amazing views of the river. Several grocery and bakery options are available nearby. We met our host's colleague at the appointed time and she gave us an orientation tour of the apartment. The apartment was clean and had all the things we would need. (The use one, replace one wine sharing station was a nice addition) Please note that my 6 foot 2 inch tall husband did have to guard his head in some parts of the apartment,...

"Jolie appartement et spacieux. Lits très confortables malgré les fenêtres des deux chambres du bas qui ne sont pas isolés et qui donnent sur la rue. Malheureusement, Nous n’avons pas eu accès aux clefs de la terrasse, qui étaient apparemment égarées ; ayant sélectionné cet appartement pour sa terrasse, nous sommes assez déçus (nous passions par la fenêtre de la cuisine avec un escabot pour y accéder...). Appartement reste agréable et très bien situé"

"We had a wonderful stay in this large, quiet, well-equipped, comfortable apartment. Our communications with Charlotte and Suzanna were timely, clear and relevant. The location was perfect. All the city sites and venues were within walking distance. It was so convenient to have butcher, bakery, restaurants, tram and bus within close proximity to the apartment. Taking morning walks to the nearby public gardens was a bonus. This apartment is in a perfect location for a great holiday in Bordeaux."
