"Very pleasant employees "

"This “little hotel” is BIG on cleanliness, comfort, coziness & charm—like staying at a friend’s cool apartment. Our room had a king-sized bed with a sweet, soft quilted coverlet, & plenty of substantial pillows to prop up against the beautiful padded headboard. The muted blue hues, unique fish-patterned wallpaper & wall art, along with all the attractive & different accent pieces suggest an aquatic/island setting, very soothing to our tired bones after a long day’s drive. Our room was spotless, spacious, had all the amenities one could wish for. The shower with its just-right pressure included pleasant smelling shampoo/conditioner/body wash from convenient pumps affixed to the wall. The outside though well maintained is testament to its age, but the inside is a pleasant surprise. If we ever come this way again we will definitely stay here & will recommend it to friends & family. My ONLY complaint, really more of a concern, is that a tiny corner of the laminate flooring by the desk area (the desk is a pleasant departure from the usual hotel desk) sticks up & is somewhat sharp, something that management should address. I give the Bay Inn five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Room is quaint, nicely decorated. Complimentary beverages and refreshments were a nice touch. Hotel is charming. All staff members were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in a bit early because the room was ready. Hallway floors are uneven which might be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. Taller guests may need to duck to get into the showers. Overall, an excellent place to stay."

"Check in was wonderful. Its akways nuce after a long car ride to be geeeted with a nice friendly person with a great attitude. I brought my fishing pole to try the channel by the hotwl and the maintence guy not only pointed my in the right direction and gave me some suggestions he also let me use his net! A complete stranger. That doesnt happen anymore. Will definetly stay there again, every time i go to charlevoix!"

"Waitstaff was exceptional. Loved the old inn. The restaurant was also exceptional. We lived the food and ate both nights at 1911! "

"This hotel was very cute and was very comfortable. It has everything one would need from a fridge and microwave in the room to free 24 hour coffee! We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub."
