  • This one bedroom first floor level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 1307489 and 1307347. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, and fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is 2.3 mile from our property. Bayfield has fresh fish markets, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music in the park Tuesdays and Thursdays, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

It was a disappointing stay. It never is a good thing when you pull up to the facility and it has chipped paint, cobwebs and dead hanging plants. The welcome mat was very worn and dirty. Upon entering the unit we could tell the unit needed updating. The worst room being the bathroom which smelled of mold. The bottom of the shower liner was covered with mold. The bedroom was better and the bed comfortable. The only negative was the bed pillows were in clean pillowcases but stored on the wooden floor of the closet. No dishwasher made it impossible to sanitize dishes, etc. We used our own that we brought with us. The back deck flooring was weak and moved in places when we walked on it. The futon to be used as a couch was very uncomfortable for a three day stay. To get to the bathroom you had to walk over a dirty indoor front door mat. The inside of the front door looked like it had been kicked, chipped, rusty. We liked the area of the town of Bayfield but would not stay here again.

What a wonderful condo. 3 min from Bayfield, just a short walk to a marina. Condo has everything you need, fire pit our the front door was well stocked with wood. Bring your groceries with you, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Great location! We loved that we were just a couple miles from downtown Bayfield yet not in the middle of everything. The property is right next to a marina and we enjoyed walking down there in the mornings. It was also very clean.

Tour of N Shore and Apostle island

This was a perfect spot for our trip - our stay was Sunday- Monday- some business are not open Sunday/Monday. Have a great retreat made that fine. Nicely appointed and comfy bed- highly recommend if you’re visiting this area.

Great location and exactly as advertised

This is our 2nd time staying in this unit and we have already booked a 3rd. The location is perfect being close to the water while still being tucked away in the woods. Hosts make the check-in process very easy and respond very quickly to questions. Thanks!

Nice weekend getaway

Hidden Gem

I loved that this building is tucked into a hidden pocket surrounded by trees. It helped to keep the unit cool in the July heat. The condo is well supplied with the necessities and is a great base for exploring the area. We'll definitely stay here again.

Conveniently Located

This condo met all our expectations for the long weekend of exploring the area for the first time. It is cute, clean, comfortable and tucked away in the trees with a secluded view from the deck. We relaxed there in the evenings and slept great. Communication exceeded our expectations! We did not utilize the kitchen but it looked well stocked.

Well maintained condo in a concenient location.

Great place to stay to explore Bayfield area and Madeline Island. Extras included fire pit, grill, heated pool. Cell phone service is sketchy so you may need to step outside There as a bit of road noise on the balcony.

Comfortable and clean. Could use decent pots and pans. Didnt bring body wash or shampoo as listed to be provided but no bodywash available. Overall would consider again.
